RiverCom is a dedicated multi-jurisdictional Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) located in Wenatchee, Washington providing public safety communications in Chelan and Douglas counties. We answer and process emergency 9-1-1 calls and non-emergency calls for service and provide dispatching services for twenty-three law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical agencies within the two-county system. Our Telecommunicators provide the first line of contact with the public when calling for emergency and non-emergency public safety services.
The Attorney General's Office Wants to Hear from Washingtonians Impacted by the December 2018 Statewide 9-1-1 Outage
On December 27 and 28, 2018, many Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPS) in Washington experienced a more than 12-hour 9-1-1 outage starting at about 9:00 p.m. RiverCom was one of the agencies that unexpectedly experienced the outage when it was unable to receive incoming 9-1-1 calls. The outage did not affect all PSAPs in the same way. RiverCom was able to notify the local community about the outage prior to a state-wide notification.

Misty Viebrock Appointed Executive Director of RiverCom 911
The RiverCom Administrative Board has appointed Misty Viebrock to the position of Executive Director at RiverCom 911. Viebrock replaces Jim Fosse, who is resigning from the position to retire after more than thirty-five years of service in public safety.
