RiverCom is a dedicated multi-jurisdictional Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) located in Wenatchee, Washington providing public safety communications in Chelan and Douglas counties. We answer and process emergency 9-1-1 calls and non-emergency calls for service and provide dispatching services for twenty-three law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical agencies within the two-county system. Our Telecommunicators provide the first line of contact with the public when calling for emergency and non-emergency public safety services.

Emergency Declaration and COVID-19 Restrictions
On March 23, 2020, Governor Jay Inslee issued a statewide "Stay Home, Stay Healthy" proclamation to help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The proclamation states: “All people in Washington State shall immediately cease leaving their home or place of residence except: (1) to conduct or participate in essential activities, and/or (2) for employment in essential business services. This prohibition shall remain in effect until midnight on April 6, 2020, unless extended beyond that date.”
